Here are some of the recommended reading that helped me get to this point. on mindfulness, awareness, and the breath that I’ve read in the last 6 months that have had an impact:
1) Power of Now – Eckhart Tolle
3) Answers from the Heart: Practical Responses to Life’s Burning Questions – Thich Nhat Hahn (I love him and will try and read all of his books.)
5) Bringing Yoga to Life – Donna Farhi
6) A Life Worth Breathing: Max Strom (he’s ahmahhhzing, as are his videos [he has the best voice!]: There’s No App for Happiness and Learn to Breathe)
7) The Wisdom of No Escape: Pema Chodron (Her “When Things Fall Apart” is also apparently a classic. She’s awesome!)
8) LovingKindness – Sharon Salzberg
9) The Promise of Love, Sex, and Intimacy – Mark Whitwell (might be worth watching his app video first, it’s the iPromise Mark Whitwell yoga app. I saw him at a workshop, then read his book.)
